Important compatibility and direction notice:
⚠️ Signal conversion direction: This adapter works in one direction only; it transmits the signal from a DisplayPort source (computer) to an HDMI display. It can’t be used in reverse (i.e., it does not convert from a computer with HDMI output to a display with a DisplayPort port).
